Hey – and welcome to my blog!
I’m Rhianne, and I’m a student at Bournemouth University. I’m currently in my final year of my BA(Hons) Communication and Media degree. I’m also a student ambassador for the university as part of the digital marketing team (I just love all things media).
I’m 21 years old and come from the land of the mighty dragon (Wales, duh). Wales is quite possible my favourite place on earth, but I felt it was important for me to move away for university and experience it in a place that was completely new to me. It was a big change from the country lanes of Caerphilly to the sunny (and by sunny, I just mean sunnier than Wales, which isn’t hard) seaside town of Bournemouth.
Outside of Uni, I love being active. I get cabin fever very easily, so I’m always at the gym, out with friends or dancing – sometimes in a club, sometimes in my room. Growing up, I was a British street dance champion so I’m always on the move. I also love music. Going to live performances is one of the most exciting things for me and I have seen the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Guns N Roses, The 1975 and Bon Jovi (we all love a bit of dad rock!) During Sixth Form I had potentially the best job ever of working in a record store. If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. My young self was able to experience this in what only started as a part-time retail job, but I genuinely did love it and it sparked a passion to want to continue working in the music industry.
